Handcrafted Ghost Pear Vinegar
Our Ghost Pear Vinegar is made completely from scratch by us using orchard fresh pears and hand roasted ghost peppers.
We start with fresh pears shipped to us from orchards in Washington. We clean and chop the fruit to size and ferment into pear cider. We roast the ghost peppers, crush them and add just enough to transform this amazing cider into the sweet and spicy character we call "Ghost Pear". After some aging, when the time is right, we add the spicy cider into our vinegar fermenters. Our vinegar process is the old, all natural Orleans Process, developed in France centuries ago. The entire process requires lots of labor and care but produces exotic flavors that naturally complement your creative foodie designs through an entire menu.
